MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE SELECTION COMMITTEE OF THE INTERNATIONAL IBERIAN NANOTECHNOLOGY LABORATORY IN CHARGE OF PROPOSING THE AWARD OF THE CONTRACT FOR THE SUPPLY OF SCIENTIFIC MATERIALS AND INSTRUMENTS TO THE INTERNATIONAL IBERIAN NANOTECHNOLOGY LABORATORY

Mr. José Rivas, Director General of the INL, as President.
Mr. Paulo Jorge Peixeiro Freitas, Deputy Director-General of the INL, as Vice-President.
Mr. Alejandro Pan, as Secretary.
In Braga, on 16th December 2009, being 9:00 am, at the INL’s offices, located at Avenida Central 100, Edificio dos Congregados, Braga, the ‘Selection Committee of the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in charge of proposing the award of the contract for the supply of scientific material and instruments’ (hereinafter SELECTION COMMITTEE), being present the aforementioned attendees, celebrates a meeting in order to solve the complaint made by FELCON LTD related to its exclusion from the proceeding of the award of the aforementioned contract.
FELCON LTD. was excluded by the Selection Committee because of its lack of fulfillment of the requirement made by the Selection Committee on 18th November 2009.
Once the exclusion was communicated to FELCON LTD, this company sent a complaint saying that FELCON LTD had fulfilled the requirement by an e-mail sent on 19th November 2009. However, at first, that e-mail was not received.
Seeing the allegation made by FELCON LTD in its complaint, the Selection Committee has ordered a report in order to clarify why the e-mail was not received, once the company has proved that it was sent.
This report concludes that the e-mail was not received due to technical problems on the INL’s server.
In view of the above, the Selection Committee has decided that FELCON LTD is admitted.
Likewise, the Selection Committee has decided that all of the foregoing shall be notified to FELCON LTD by e-mail, and published in the INL contractor profile.
And being no other subjects to discuss, the session now stands adjourned on the date set forth above, signing below the SECRETARY, the PRESIDENT and the VICE-PRESIDENT.
