Leandro Martins is a research engineer, whose current job embraces the fabrication in cleanroom environment of magnetic sensors based on magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs).

During his PhD and post-doc, Leandro gained scientific knowledge and experience in both nanofabrication and characterization of MTJ-based spin torque vortex oscillators (e.g. steady-state dynamics, spin diode, synchronization), aiming their integration in a new generation of unconventional computing hardware based on artificial neural networks.
