Shunrui Luo is a Research Fellow in the Atomic Structure-Composition of Materials Group. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Chongqing University (China) in 2020. During her Ph.D., she also conducted research at the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA). Her expertise includes nanomaterial synthesis and growth mechanisms, cathode materials development, oxygen electrodes for reversiblr protonic ceramic electrochemical cells (r-PCECs), and advanced electron microscopy techniques, particularly EELS analysis.  Her current research mainly focuses on PGM and non-PGM catalysts and interfaces in thin-film batteries utilizing advanced electron microscopy.
