Cléophanie Brochard
Postdoctoral Researcher
Cléophanie Brochard-Richard studies thermal transport at the nanoscale using different setups. Her goal is to develop a Frequency Domain Thermo Reflectance setup to probe different thin films. Her expertise in Raman spectroscopy and 2D materials also allows her to contribute to group projects.
After earning a dual Bachelor's degree in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Paris Cité, she completed a dual Master's degree between the University of Paris Cité and the Politecnico di Torino, focused on Nanotechnologies and quantum devices. She completed a PhD degree at the Université Paris Saclay in the C2N laboratory, where she studied thermal transport in 2D materials with Raman Spectroscopy. She then held a postdoctoral position at the Institute Demokritos in Athens on Frequency Domain Thermo Reflectance to probe 2D materials.
