Lisa is a Research Assistant in the Alpuim Group (2D Materials and Devices) at INL.

Her work focuses on defect engineering of hexagonal boron nitride for the fabrication of quantum memristors targeting neuromorphic computing applications. She is involved in the growth of two-dimensional materials, device fabrication, and structural and electrical characterisation, contributing to the development of advanced nanoelectronic devices.

Lisa obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology from Politecnico di Milano. Her Master’s thesis focused on the growth and characterisation of two-dimensional materials for electronic applications.
