SCICLI
Science for Climate
Delivering the European Green Deal means making Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. This involves protecting the environment, promoting the green economy and restricting pollution. The EU-funded SCICLI project will bring researchers closer to Portugal’s public to discuss the role of science in addressing climate change and increase awareness about the latest research and technological innovations in the areas of industry, transport, natural resources and ecosystems preservation. The project will carry out activities in four regions across Portugal, engaging six universities, municipalities and new research institutions from different scientific fields. The overall aim will be to promote social inclusion and encourage young people in embarking on scientific careers
